Bangor City make a quick fire return to Rhyl on Tuesday night for a NWCFA Cup semi final tie with The Lilywhites.

And both sides will be keen progress to the final and a meeting with Prestatyn ToPaul McManuswn whose own semi final opponents Colwyn Bay withdrew.

Newly crowned Cymru Alliance champions Rhyl have every reason to feel pleased with their season and look forward to this clash against coast rivals Bangor.

Manager Greg Strong can call upon Llanfyllin based TNS loanee Alex Ramsay in goal behind a tall defence featuring the likes of Stefan Halewood and Russ Courtney.

Midfield options include former blues Mark Cadwallader and Paul McManus who played further forwards for City.

Although leading goalscorer Marc Evans has departed for Gwalchmai there is still plenty of attacking threat in the form of Steve Lewis and Tom Rowlands.

Bangor boss Nev Powell has plenty to ponder ahead of this awkwardly timed clash, coming as it does six days before The Welsh Cup Final match against Prestatyn.

Selection for City is difficult to predict. One man who might have been sure to start is long distance defender Kris Thomas as he is cuptied, but the distance involved might rule him out. Powell may be tempted to start Levi Mackin in midfield alongside Corey Jones whilst Jamie McDaid and Gary O'Toole could feature upfront.

Either way this is a cup semi final and one which both sides will want to win..
