 Summary

Airbus UK beat Bangor City 2-0 infront of the live TV cameras to almost guarantee themselves a European debut next season.

Wayne Riley gave the Wingmakers the lead after a defence splitting pass from right-back Lee Owens put Chris Budrys in space. The giant Scot played a slide pass into the six-yard box for Riley to slot home. The Citizens felt that they deserved a penalty when Chris Jones fell in the box, but referee Bryn Markham-Jones waved play-on.

The Wingmakers doubled their advantage on 64 minutes, when Steve Tommassen headed in unopposed from an Owens free-kick after Dave Morley felled Budrys just outside the box on the right. Riley had the chance to seal it with 15 minutes to go, but his shot went wide of Lee Idzi's post.

The win means that Bangor would need to beat TNS next week and overturn a 20 goal deficit if Airbus lost at Port Talbot Town.
