           Summary

Bangor City claimed their first home win of the season in a 3-2 thriller over Aberystwyth Town.

After a bright start from City, Aber struck with their first chance of the game, when Mark Jones' shot was pushed onto the post by Idzi, only to ricochet kindly into Chris Venables' path to tap in on 11 minutes.

Bangor rode their luck at times as the visitors upped the tempo, but they found a leveller on 37 minutes when Les Davies rifled in from the edge of the area.

City dominated the second half, and went ahead on 63 through Jamie Petrie, before hitting a third eight minutes later with Chris Jones' cool finsih.

Aber hit back late on through Wyn Thomas to ensure a nervy finish, and despite an almighty scramble at the death, City held on for a confidence-boosting victory.
