There's more good news for City supporters today as three of our defensive linchpins have signed new contracts with the club.
Michael Johnston, Anthony Miley and Declan Walker (pictured) have all extended terms with City.
Johnno of course is a City veteran (at 26!) having originally joined us on loan from Tranmere Rovers in 2007.
Anthony and Declan (the Ant and Dec of the Welsh Premier League) are two of the young guns who are fresh faces to Nantporth, both having joined us at the beginning of this season and are starring in what is shaping up to become one of the League's best defensive units.
Speaking after last weekend's 1 - 0 win over Afan Lido, a game where we kept our sixth clean sheet in our last nine outings, City manager Neville Powell told the 'Daily Post' “We conceded silly goals early in the season and got punished, but all of a sudden we’ve seemed to tighten up and it’s given us a good platform to work on.”
