Big Les Davies sent Nantporth wild after he headed home the winning goal in the second and final minute of injury time at Nantporth.

In monsoon-like conditions as bad as this reporter has ever seen, City bombarded the Lido goal in the second half, but it seemed like all their efforts would be in vain until Sion Edwards lifted a perfect free-kick into the box and Davies rose highest to nod in the decider.

The result moves City up to third in the Welsh Premier and ever nearer a guaranteed top six spot come the mid-season split next month.

Thanks very much to Dave Jones of the Daily Post for this report (and for his great coverage of Ciy in particular and north Wales football in general)

Mike Smith's full report coming soon in our Match Centre
