NEV AND PLAYERS IN NEW CONTRACT DEALS: Bangor City Football Club is delighted to announce that three-times Welsh Cup-winning manager Neville Powell has signed an extension to his current contract. He is now contracted to the club for a further two years, until the end of the 2013/14 season.

Neville has also secured the re-signing of the following players for next season:

Sion Edwards
Craig Garside
Peter Hoy
Clive Williams
Nicky Ward

The above players join Michael Johnston, James Brewerton, Les Davies, Eddie Jebb, Jamie Reed, Chris Roberts, Ashley Stott and  John Owen who have previously committed their future to the club.

Neville is in negotiations with other members of the successful squad for this season and hopes to have these completed before he has a well-deserved break at the end of the month.

In modern times, and on the basis of appearances in the final (16) and victories (8) we lie only behind the so-called "big three" of Cardiff, Swansea and Wrexham. Wrexham-area club The Druids also won the Cup eight times back in the Victorian era.
