RHYL V CITY: Friday 11 September, KO 7.30 pm. Security arrangements have now been announced by North Wales Police for this match.
Bangor City fans will occupy the George James stand and will have access to full café facilities at the Grange End of the ground. Toilet facilities will also be available in this area for male and female City supporters.
There will be a cordoned off area behind both goals, for the safety of goalkeepers. Bangor City officials have requested that Rhyl fans do not migrate from one goal-end to the other at half-time. The Police have informed us that consideration will be given on the night to this request.
North Wales Police are requesting that fans arrive early to ease congestion at the turnstiles, and behave accordingly at the game. Any abusive behaviour by fans of either team will be dealt with accordingly.
City will provide their own Stewards to assist on the night
CITY 2 - 3 LLANELLI: Some below-par defending by us and opportunitstic finishing by our visitors spelt an unlucky home defeat which leaves us seventh in the League table. Two Chris Sharp goals (one a penalty) - with a Rhys Griffiths response in between - had given us a 2 - 1 advantage at the break, but the visitors hit back after half-time to claim the three points. MYNYDD LLANDEGAI 2 - 4 CITY RESERVES: Our reserves were on form in this Caernarfon and District League Div 1 fixture, putting four goals past Mynydd Llandegai. Jack Williams, Steve Jones, Aaron Richmond and John Coulter were on the scoresheet.
First-team regular fullback Dave Swanick continued his rehabilitation from injury, completing 90 minutes in this match.
FIXTURE CHANGE - CITY V NEWTOWN, LOOSEMORES CUP: Please note that this match scheduled for Tuesday September 8th at Farrar Road has now been changed to Tuesday September 15th, due to the International call ups for Michael Johnston and Sion Edwards.
Jonno has been called up to the Wales U-23 Semi-Pro squad who will meet Poland at Carmarthen on 8 September and Sion is on stand-by for the fixture.

CITY RESERVES 2 - 0: Our Reserves have played their first match of the season, winning 2-0 at home against Nefyn Utd Reserves with Steven Jones scoring after 21 and 43 minutes. Dave Swanick made his comeback playing 45 minutes for the reserves.
