FOOTBALL IN THE COMMUNITY (FITC)
Bangor City's new Football in the Community programme is delivered in partnership with social enterprise Vi-Ability.
FITC is now running ‘Extra Time’ football skills sessions at Maes Glas Sports Centre, Bangor
- Tuesdays: 16.00 - 17.00: ‘Fun Football’ sessions for 5 - 12 year olds
- Wednesdays: 16.00 - 17.00: ‘It’s not for boys’ girls-only football sessions for 5 - 12 year olds; and ‘Hot Shot Tots’ football training for toddlers from 18 months - 4 years
- Thursdays: 16.00 - 17.00 - ‘‘Fun Football’ sessions for 5 to 12 year olds
All ‘Extra Time’ events are offered as a six-week programme. Cost for all six sessions is £12.50, or you can ‘Pay as you Play’ for £2.50 per session.
FITC will also be busy on Saturday 18 December 2010 - the last shopping weekend before Christmas.
Bangor City and Vi-Ability will be offering ‘Christmas Shop ‘n’ drop sessions - safe and supervised football opportunities for kids - leaving mums and dads free to buy those all-important presents.
Hot Shot Tots sessions for 18-month - 4 year-old youngsters will be available from 10.00 - 12.00 (cost £5.00), and sessions for girls and boys ages 5 - 12 will be available from 10.00 - 15.00 (cost £10.00 for the day).
