CITY TO PLAY LLANELLI IN THIRD ROUND OF WELSH CUP

It's a re-run of last season's final in the third round of the Welsh Cup as we play hosts to Cup-holders Llanelli.

The match, which will be the final Welsh Cup fixture to be played at Farrar Road - will take place on or before the weekend of 3/4 December.

In the rest of the Cup draw, in another all top-flight clash, Port Talbot Town will host Afan Lido in a fantastic derby match and there is also a derby element to Airbus UK Broughton's trip to the Racecourse to face Andy Morrell's Wrexham, which is sure to draw a good crowd on the Dragon's return to the competition.

Bala Town face the lowest ranked team in the competition with a long journey south to Merthyr Saints of Welsh Amateur League division 2, but having lost to UWIC last season, Colin Caton's side will not want to be on the wrong end of another giant-killing.

Aberystwyth Town face another low-ranked side with their draw away at Welsh National League side FC Cefn. Newtown will be pleased to have a home draw, but face a difficult challenge against Greg Strong's Rhyl, who dumped Neath out of last year's competition at this stage.

Terry Boyle's Neath are at home against Welsh League side West End and there is also home advantage for Prestatyn Town, who will host Derek Brazil's Goytre Utd at Bastion Gardens. Carmarthen Town and TNS have both got home advantage over Welsh League sides Bridgend Town and Bryntirion Athletic respectively. Tomi Morgan's Old Gold will face no less than four of their 2007 Cup Winning team who now turn out for Bridgend with Terry Evans, Mark Dodds, Danny Thomas and Nathan Cotterrall all on the Brewery Field side's books, as well as another former Town trio Neil Smothers, Jamal Easter and Craig Lima.

Newport County will host former Champions Barry Town on their return to the competition.
