sky sports Victory Shield set for Bangor

U16 Boys Wales v England

Following on from their impressive double header victories last week against the French, Osian Roberts U16 side now look ahead at the forthcoming Victory Shield campaign. The WFT / FA Wales are delighted to announce today that the Wales v England game this year will be played at the Book People Stadium home of Bangor City on Friday 31st October with a 7pm kick off.

Technical Director and U16 Head Coach Osian Roberts commented "I'm delighted to take a youth international to North Wales again this year, the North Wales fans really turned out in their numbers for our game v Northern Ireland last season, and it's so important to take as many fixtures as we possibly can around the country. Facility development has been high on the FAW agenda for a number of seasons now with huge strides being made, I feel the Book People Stadium at Bangor is a fitting stadium to host the England fixture especially with it being the newest stadium in the league with a great playing surface, along with the passionate home crowd, I know it will be a fantastic occasion for Welsh Football".

The England game is the first fixture of the Sky Sports tournament with Wales travelling to St Johnston to face Scotland on Friday November 7th and Ballymena on Thursday November 20th to face Northern Ireland.
