The club are pleased to announce the signing of defender Leon Clowes from Wrexham. The 22 year old has previously spent time on loan at Airbus UK Broughton and Vauxhall Motors. His versatility means that Leon can play at Centre-half, right back or centre midfield. Leon played 16 games for Wrexham last season, scoring 2 goals in the process.

Former Wrexham manager Andy Morell described Clowes as ".... an old fashioned centre back who gets rid of danger in a no-nonsense style. His strengths lie in his physicality, and that’s no bad thing at this level".
