We are delighted to announce the signing of striker Jack Laird from Burscough.

The 20 year old has been a long term target of Nev Powell and comes highly recommended by Burscough manager Derek Goulding.

Aged 20, Jack has previously played for Stalybridge, Skelmersdale, Celtic Nation and Salford. He came through the ranks at Oldham Athletic before having trials with Tranmere Rovers. 

At Skelmersdale, Jack was the top scorer in his first season and is known as a free-kick specialist.
