Bangor City FC In The Community Run Training Sessions for the MPCT
Bangor City Community Sports the community partnership between Bangor City FC and Vi-Ability Educational Programme as part of their partnership with MPCT Bangor have delivered another training session for the MPCT students. The new partnership was developed with the organisation in the summer after the 3G Pitch was opened at Bangor City FC. This training session saw the Bangor City FC In The Community coaches deliver a 3 hour session for the MPCT participants who are aged 16 and 17 years old. This was the 2nd session which has been run by Bangor City for the MPCT and was delivered from 10am – 1pm and saw the players engaging in a wide range of sessions including passing, dribbling and shooting with the day being concluded with a small 8-a-side tournament. With over 45 students in attendance this was a fantastic day to host at Bangor City FC, and it is great to further develop the partnership with a growing and locally based organisation such as the MPCT. Bangor City FC Community Officer Ethan Ray said “this was another great session ran by our coaches for the students, it is fantastic to be working in partnership with another successful local organisation and getting a more diverse demographic of people using our state of the art 3G pitch”
