Bangor City FC U14 Girls V LlandudnoTown FC
Bangor City FC Girls U14 travelled to Llandudno Town FC in their first North Wales Girls League away Fixture on Saturday 29th November at Llandudno FC Stadium. After an excellent start to the season beating Rhyl Hearts in their previous 2 games the girls had been on the end of 2 disappointing results V Caernarfon and Prestatyn. This was an excellent performance by the girls, there was a much better intensity in their play, they gave everything and were unfortunate to come out 7-1 losers in a game which they had the better of the play. The majority of the match was played in the Llandudno half, but the Bangor girls couldn't make the pressure or their superiority count and the Llandudno G/K was their Man of the Match and made some great saves!!! Really proud of the way the girls played and applied themselves as individuals and a team, great to see them developing week in week out. Bangor City FC Girls Manager Ethan Ray said “it is disappointing for the girls to be on the end of a defeat, however, the girls played the game in a great spirit and put in a fantastic performance and I will never understand how they came away from Llandudno without a win that day because they were the better team throughout the game”
The next game for the U14 is another home match, this time V Corwen on Saturday 6th Devember, 1pm KO at the Book People Stadium.
